Health and Safety Services

Employers have a legal obligation to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for both their employees and also other persons who may be affected by their business activity. Failure to have relevant and robust policies and procedures in place can lead to significant business costs including substantial fines, reputational damage, and of course, personal liability for Directors. More importantly a lack of health and safety understanding can lead to an increase in injuries and illness that can affect both employees and members of the general public.

Workplace Wellbeing health and safety advisors have the skills, experience and knowledge to provide a comprehensive package of services to help you develop an effective health and safety programme.

Our range of Health and Safety services include:

Health and Safety Advisors

Our Health and Safety Advisors have all previously worked within a safety critical environment such as rapid response services, armed services, law enforcement, and the fire service. In addition to the wealth of practical experience they bring to their roles, all our advisors are accredited to their own specialist body, and are also IOSH accredited.

Safety Advisor Support Service

Under UK legislation employers are also required to provide a ‘competent person’ to assist with health and safety at work, a provision that can be costly for the small business.  The Workplace Wellbeing Safety Advisor Support Service provides ongoing support for those who do not employ a health and safety professional in-house. Our experienced Health and Safety Advisors will work with you to provide a professional and compliant health and safety service based on your specific requirements.

Accreditation Assistance

Being accredited with health and safety organisations such as Safecontractor, or the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), is an excellent indication of health and safety competence and will support your tenders for further contracts. Workplace Wellbeing is pleased to offer an assistance programme to support your process through the accreditation process.

For further information about any of these services please contact the Workplace Wellbeing Health and Safety Team via info@workplace-wellbeing.com
